With a few MayDay's under my belt now, I guess I could say a few words about the event. First of all, great job to the Rockstars. This concert made my visit from Oklahoma complete once again this year. Yea for me, I also won 5 tickets to see Skynard on the 11th at the Community Health Network basketball shoot. Anyone who wants cheap tickets in the future, don't get to drunk, and throw a couple balls. What's a dollar? Especially since it's not a waste because it goes to a charity. Now back to the concert. I can't lie, at first, I thought I was going to leave the Music Center entertained once again, but not effected. That was until Staind played a tribute to Dimebag. Watching that guitar and knowing why it was being played, while others looked at each other wondering who dimebag was, because they were just there to jump on the bandwagon, was pricless. It made my night and touched me emotionally. Dimebag isn't dead. He lives on.

I was very happy with the entire show. I went to see Evan's Blue, Flyleaf and 10 Years primarily. I wanted to see if their stage performance was any good and to see if their other songs were as good as the ones I had heard. I was impressed and it just got better with every band! 10 Years rocked even though the singer was sick. Hurt just completely blew me away!!! If they are not huge within a year I'll be shocked! What an awesome performance and they were SO freakin' talented I was ALMOST in awe. 3 day grace also surprised me with how good their show was. And the girl from flyleaf can scream. Super happy with May Day '06! I hope next year is even better!

can anyone tell me what the name of the song was that Aaron Lewis did acoustically by himself about midway through the set? It was obviously a cover, but of what I do not know.

It was " Release " from Pearl Jam off of the debut album " Ten "

This was my second MAY DAY in a row. I am an African American that has been a frequent listener of X103 and the music you play. But wow. I was BLOWN away. To experience music being played live with all of that talent and it come across that way all the way to the lawn it was awesome. I believe that all of the bands did very well. My favorite may have been Hurt. The group I was with were drunker than you know what and we left during Staind. (I wasn't happy about that and it sounds like I missed something.) Oh well I am looking forward to next year. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.

First of all I have gained a hell of alot more respect for the bands that rocked May Day. There is only one question I have that I hope will be answered. What Pantera song did Staind perform with D.B.D.'s guitar tech??

The song was "This Love." It was from Pantera's Vulgar Display of Power release. Being a huge Pantera fan, seeing him play that guitar was amazing. This is the 5th time I have seen Staind in Indianapolis, and once again the never cease to amaze. Great show guys.
