Cold live in concert at X-Fest 2005
Cold performing live at X103's XFEST 2005.
This may be bias as I am a huge fan of Cold and their music. Scooter Ward and company write great songs. I've been listening to all their CDs for years, but this was my first time seeing a show.
During the concert, Cold was a bit more reserved than I had expected on stage, yet their passion for their music really poured out on the crowd. There were many hardcore Cold fans in the crowd, moshing away in the hot evening sun. I was pleased with Cold's performance although I was not completely blown away. I think they would be amazing to see in a smaller, indoor concert venue.
Just as a side note, the photos of Cold are among some of my favorites. I think I just liked the tones the late afternoon sun put on the stage. The photos of the drummer, Sam McCandless are probably the best shots I've got of a drummer thus far.
