About
Hello, my name is Kevin Pletcher. I designed, coded, and maintain this website. I have been working professionally with the web, interactive media, creative direction, and marketing since 1998. I have a passion for online marketing as a powerful tool for communicate with businesses, consumers, and partners to improve relationships, efficiency, and sales.
The purpose of site is to share, inform, and be a resource for others about online marketing - and get feedback from other designers, developers, and marketers. The site is also a reference and journal for myself to track past projects, successes, failures, trials, and errors I've observed along the way.
In my spare time I enjoy photography. I frequently update my rock concert photography blog with pictures of musicians. My other hobbies and interests include music, volleyball, skiing, surfing, travel, hiking, running, web design, spicy food, movies, reading blogs, and spending time with friends and family.
Professional
I am currently the Digital Media and Online Marketing Manager for Klipsch Audio Technologies - a manufacture of high-end audio products such as home theater systems, speakers, subwoofers, iPod speakers, and much more. Klipsch makes some truly awesome speaker products and I am very fortunate to be a part of the company. Note: Any opinions expressed on this site are my personal opinions, and not necessarily shared by my employer.
I also enjoy working with clients as a freelance consultant where the projects vary in type, scope, requirements, and goals.

Technology
This site is built using (X)HTML and CSS. I use Movable Type to manage my site content and blog. I'm a big fan of Google and the amazing applications they create, so I use Google Analytics, Google Checkout, Google Sitemaps, Google Adsense, and Google Adwords.
My tools for design are the Adobe (Macromedia) suite. Many of the small icons are from FamFamFam.com Silk. I use both PC's and Macs, but I definitely prefer PC's. Contrary to what the commercials have you believe, my Mac locks up more than my PC. I frequently will use Lightbox for displaying imagery.
I utilize social media sites such as Linkedin, del.icio.us, and Flickr.
